Handmade with care, the Chevron Quilt-It-Yourself Coat features a cotton outer and a soft linen lining (upcycled fabric) designed as a contemplative garment that you quilt yourself.
Think of it as a stitch version of paint-by-number; with this DIY (or, QIY) project, you create and complete a custom quilt design that is uniquely yours.

There are no pockets. i did attempt to put patch pockets on the front, but decided it broke up the visual of the chevron too much. If pockets are a deal-breaker we can discuss putting them on for an extra fee.
Chevron Quilted Coat
Coat can be machine washed in cold water, dried in the drier on low heat. I find that, especially after quilting, the wash/drying gives a cozy feel to the coat.
Note, these care instructions are based on current unquilted condition and based on other machine/hand quilted coats I've made in the past. I cant make recommendations on the washability of your coat with quilting threads I am not familiar with. Once quilted you will have to self-determine whether it is safe to machine wash.
